Blade watched as Antho stepped awa and he snorted as he started to groom him. his ears flicked back and forth, not sure of the boy. Or his intentions.

Anthony felt the horses' tense body under the brush. He sighed and quietly but the brush down onto the straw and grabbed a small bottle of lavender oil from his pocket and dropped a little bit on his hand and started to rub little circles on the horses back, then moved up his neck and around. The boy thought a relaxing afternoon would build their trust up.

Blade picked his ears at the smell and he turned his head and looked at Anthony with a questioning look.

Anthony felt the horses' body relax, noticing the horse look at him as he was questioning the smell. He chuckled lightly and reached out, gently scratching his nose, "Don't worry, I think we'll get along just fine," The boy said, shaking his head humorously. Anthony slipped the lavender oil back into his pocket and continued grooming him.

Blade nickered softly, this time not tensng under the brush. He flicked his body with his tail as the flies came round and he snorted and shook his head and neck, ridding flies on his face. He could tell that the boy wouldn't hurt him so he was completely at ease around hm.

Anthony noticed some of the riders preparing to leave. He withdrew the brush from his coat and put it back into the grooming kit box. The boy leaned on the stable door, it was still raining outside and it was quite cold. Anthony looked around the spacious stable and noticed a small shelf. He walked over and noticed a few horse rugs. The boy tugged at one until it fell neatly in his arms. He unfolded it, it was a large blue, white and black checkered rug that stopped at the neck. Anthony walked over to Blade and gently swung it over his back. The boy strapped it up around his stomach and chest. He walked around the horse to make sure nothing was loose and nothing was. Anthony gently stroked his cheek and pulled out another slice of apple. "I will be back tomorrow to see you," The boy murmured softly and started walking out the stall.

Silver Gold snorted softly as Melody ran her hand down her body but she then relaxed under Melody's touch and rested her muzzle on Melody's shoulder. Then she nuzzled her.

Melody smiled, she felt comfortable around Silver Gold now. "How about a ride, girl? We have a lesson this afternoon," she smiled. She continued to stroke the mare, feeling the softness and gentleness with each touch, enjoying the soft feel of fur.

Blade snorted and stomped the ground as Anthony put the rug on. But as Anthony started leaving Blade snorted again, reaching over and grabbing the back of his shirt in his mouth, and pulling him back,

Silver Gold snorted as Melody asked if she wanted to go for a ride.

The boy felt a harsh tug on his shirt and stepped backwards, turning around. "What is it?" He grunted, folding his arms across his chest, wondering what the horse wanted now. Anthony watched the horse, waiting for him to show any sign of what he wished of him. Smart horse, the boy thought idly.

Blade snorted softly and walked around Anthony, standing in front of the stall door. He didn't want him to go. He had started to like the boy and he didn't want to be left alone...Like always..

Anthony sighed and walked up, rubbing the gelding's face gently. "Okay, I'll stay then," The boy murmured gently and noticed he had no slices of apple left and chuckled. He glanced outside, the clouds looked as though they were glowing and there was only a light sprinkle of rain now. Anthony wondered if the horse would trust him enough to let him ride him.

Blade pricked his ears, atching the boy closely he then reached over and nuzzled him gently.

Anthony stroked his cheek gently, "Will you let me ride you?" He asked, chuckling. The boy watched Blade curiously and pressed his palm against his nose gently.

Blade shook his manea nd flicked his head around and nickered as a yesa dn he pricked his ears forward.

Anthony chuckled and started stripping the checkered blanket off the horse. He neatly folded it up tightly and put it up on the shelf for later. The boy walked out of the stable casually and towards the tack room. He found a midnight black saddle and bridle with a red saddle blanket with 'Blade' written in gold across the side. Anthony swung the equipment over his arm as if it were feather light and strolled back to the stall quietly.

Blade snorted as he left and then he he pawed the ground as he felt the saddle being put on him. His ears then fell back as the girth pinched him and he turned his head, nipping Anthony.

[Erm.. pinto.? Anthony hasn't even attempted to put any tack on, he is still walking back to the stall. ]

[Okay and could you please post to The Story of the Three in Anime? I feel like starting that role play up again.]

Anthony walked into the stable again and lightly placed the saddle pad over the horses' broad back, centering it perfectly. He then gently swung the saddle over his back and clipped up the girth, trying not to pinch Blade's soft skin. The boy then moved around to the front and slipped the bridle on, gently slipping the bit into the horses mouth then started to tightened the straps.

Blade snorted as Anthony put the saddle on him and pinned his ears as Anthony tightened the girh. Although he was reluctant put have the bit in his mouth he still allowed it easily. He played wih the bit and threw his head up as the brow band was twisted and pressed into him.

Anthony steadied the horse so he could fix the bridle. He held onto the reins and pulled down slightly so he wouldn't throw his head up again. The boy gently untwisted the brow band without hurting him and glanced around the horse, making sure nothing was loose or too tight.

Blade settled after Anthony fixed his brow band and his ears flicked back and forth curiously. He hadn't been riden for a while seeing as no one had the confidence to ride him or even go near him. Blade flicked his tail and stomped on the ground as flies kept annoying him.

Anthony pulled the reins over Blade's head so he could lead him "Easy," He mumured soothingly as he noticed the horse's irritation. The boy started walking out the stable door and towards the jumping ring. He hoped silently that Blade wouldn't be too hard to ride..

lade followed Anthony out of the stall without too much hesitation.

Anthony arrived at the jumping ring and opened the creaky gate, slipping inside with Blade on his heels. He quietly shut the gate and put on his helmet he had been carrying. The boy looked at Blade and gently rubbed his cheek, not sure whether he trusted him or not. He grabbed the saddle lightly and put one foot in the stirrup, mounting up swiftly onto the gelding's back. Anthony gathered the reins and looked around, his gaze resting on the smaller jumps. The boy let the horse get used to his weight for a moment then gently nudged his sides and steered him towards the smaller jumps.
