Red Gum Gully; teeming for a fight

A bloodbay stallion pranced into Moonlight Lake, snorting through flared red nostrils he neighed a challenge to the owner of this fine land. He wanted it for himself, and he wanted it now. He beckoned a neigh into the wind, hearing as it echoed about him. Waiting for a reply he flicked his tail and stamped impatiently. Where was he? Why hadn't he come for Gully yet?

Senor Magnum walked towards the stallion with a yawn. this was so boring. he wanted the land he should have tried o find him not the other way round. Senor magnum stopped and looked at Gully with another little yawn and a sigh.

Gully looked at Magnum, ears pinning at the sheer sight of the stag. He bared his teeth, I want your land, he said bluntly. He stamped a night-black hoof, feeling it peirce the soft ground, the ground he wanted for himself.

Kim emerged from the vines that hung from the trees surrounding the lake, she blinked her pale grey eyes and her nostrails took in the scent of an angry stallion, his scent deffinately more terrifying and stronger then the other, who was mellow and unworried by this strong, brave challenger.
Kims heart skipped a beat as she heard the words being demanded by the challenger, had she stumbled amounst a potential fight? Her nostrails flared and she snorted quietly, lowering her dishet, poetic head to the soft lush grass. She chewed, pretending to graze and appear to be not involved in the fray.

Movement flickered in the corner of Gully's eye. His head snaked round to see a stunning mare, delicately pulling at the shoots of grass. He snorted and arched his neck, muscular crest buldging. He held himself more proudly, a shameless show-off. His attention turned back to Magnum and he snorted in disdain. He reared, thrashing his forelegs, and leapt forward towards the older stallion with teeth bared. He snapped his jaws inches from Magnum, before dancing around him tauntingly. His dark tail slashed at his sides, and he shook his head. Gully bucked, almost playfully, showing off his finesse and strength, before striking out a hindleg to clip the other horse's flank. The feeling of contact sent a convulsion of andrenaline through the bloodbay's body, and he felt all the more powerful. He faced the stallion, waiting for a counterattack.
