The Camargue Concour!

[Brumby Rider]

Cassiel walked slowly through the lands, checking for life. He saw none, he turned slowly to look at the herd he was in, the small band of Camargue Ponies that roamed the lands. He snorted and then reared, whinnying as he pawed the sky with his neat hooves.
Uriel looked at her twin brother, she smiled. Her and Jophiel were identicle, besides the different personalities and she was a mare. Uriel gazed at her mirror image, Jophiel was looking back at her.
Raphael whinnied and half reared he watched Cassiel, the quiet stallion that always threw himself into danger first. Cassiel was a lonely horse, he didn't enjoy being with the herd much, he prefered being by himself.
Michael looked around the herd, looking at every horse before looking back at Cassiel, who ended his show and landed elegently on all fours.
Zadiel snorted and grinned as he looked at the gorgeous figure standing a bit off away from the herd, the figure stood tall with her head high as she watched Cassiel.
Gabriel stood tall as she watched Cassiel, he was beautiful framed in this light, the gold of the lowering sun shone through his mane and tail and lit up his stunning white coat. He was amazing, her heart raced as she watched, caught in a trance by his beauty.
All seven horses stood proudly by the rushing river, this land was theirs.

Christine and Rio trotted in together, as they were twins...but not identical. They both always stuck together no matter what. Behind them Belldandy followed in a walk, looking around.


Lollipop and Nara followed Belldandy closely also walking in - with their friends Xeliar and Sted

they all stopped and Rio pricked her ears, looking around, ashe smelt other horses.

Belldandy also smelt them and she reared, neighing loudly, she pawed the air eagerly. Lollipop and Christine look at Belldandy then at eachother and sighed, shaking their heads

Xeliar beamed widely as he watched the mares
Stead laid down, watching the rushing river

Cassiel snorted as he caught the stray scent of another herd. He neighed loudly and half reared, his muscles tensing and prepared.
The other ponies suddenly snapped to alertness and looked around, some snorted and some whinnied.
Gabriel watched Cassiel, he was so amazing in her eyes, his every move and breath. She watched as he swung aroung to look for the horses then spotted them. They were up the river a bit and eight Camargue horses stood.
Cassiel neighed feircly and galloped along the river to reach them.

[Pinto]

Belldandy landed on the ground and trotted forward a bit then turned and saw the other herd and she walked towards them, Rio following her closely

Christine and Lollipop watched Rio and Belldandy then looked over at the other camargues

Nara, Xaliar and Sted walked up beside Beldandy and Rio

Cassiel snorted and halted near the other horses, the rest of the herd came trotting over to stand behind him.
Raphael stood next to Cassiel with Zadiel on the other side.

[Pinto]

Belldandy took a small step forward and bowed"is this your land?"she asked"if it is. We are sory to disturb you and your herd"she rised and waited for an answer

Rio shook her mane, who cares if this was their land? Rio snorted

Cassiel shook his mane and took a step back, this left Raphael and Zadiel standing side by side.
The Camargues were unsure of who to be crowned the lead stallion.
Raphael was a great leader, he was strong and solidly built, Cassiel thought he would make the best leader.
But some of the other horses thought Cassiel should be king, he was always doing things for the herd and not expecting anything in return. Plus he was strong, intelligent and brave.

Belldandy looked a the stallions, who was the leader?

Cassiel looked at Raphael before turning slowly and walking a slight distance off. From here he watched the other horses carefully.
Raphael stood proud, he was the leader now, Cassiel had stood back and let him take the throne. He looked at the new stallions before looking back to the mare that had addressed him. 'I am the leader.' He stated.
Gabriel looked sadly at Cassiel, he was really the true lead, only a lead stallion would make a choice like that.

[Pinto]

Beldandy owed to Raphael then rised again"we aren't disturbing your herd, are we?"she asked softly.

Rio snorted again, turned flicking her tail and walked off.

Christine trotted off after Rio

Nara and Lollipop looked at Ro and Christine then at Beldandy..

Xeliar just stayed quiet and watched

Sted laid down.

Raphael nodded at Beldandy. 'No you are not.' He smiled.
Cassiel watched Raphael, feeling slightly dejected.
Uriel blinked her large blue eyes, 'It's great to see other Camargues!'
Jophiel grinned, he stepped next to his twin sister, his blue eyes also alight. 'Yeh, we thought we were the last ones.' He added.
Gabriel smiled sweetly and she saw one of the stallions lie down. She then looked at Cassiel and she felt sorry for him, he never really was good with other horses. After all he was named after the angel of solitude. Gabriel walked slowly over to Cassiel and nuzzled his neck.
Cassiel watched as Gabriel slowly walked around the back of the horses and towards him, he nuzzled her back and spoke in a voice so pure and musical it made you crave for more. 'Hey Gabby.' No one else referd to Gabriel as Gabby, it was disrespectful. But Cassiel called her that because she had asked him to.

"I am glad to hear that"Belldandy said

"I thought we were the las ones too"Nara said, walking up beside Belldandy"It's great to meet others like us!"

[Brumby Rider]

Michael grinned, he had never really expected to see any other Camargue mares, he particuly liked the look of Nara, she had a beautiful long mane that covered all of one side of her neck. He turned on the charm and smiled at her.
Cassiel sighed and watched the other horses, he felt Gabriel tug at his mane to get his attention and he looked at her.
Gabriel smiled sadly when she finaly got Cassiel's attention, 'Are you okay?' She asked.
Cassiel nodded slightly and sighed as he turned to walk further away from the two herds, Great, He thought. More horses to be rejected by. He lowerd his head to snip some grass from near the river.

[Pinto]

Nara looked at Michael and smiled sweetly

Lollipop walked into the trees and walked off then when she came out she was near Cassiel, she smiled at him"oh, uh..h-hi."she said"i don't mean to bother you."

[Brumby Rider]

'No it's fine.' Cassiel smiled, this was the first of the new Camargue's to actualy look at him. He thought. He nodded and bowed slightly, 'Sorry to be rude earlier, I am Cassiel.' He rose and stood square.
Raphael smiled at Belldandy and the other ponies, 'I am Raphael.' He introduced himself.
Michael stepped foreward, 'My name's Michael.' He said, still looking at Nara.
Zadiel looked from each of the mares, then at the stallions. He looked at Nara, she was quite beautiful. And Michael seemed to fancy her too...
Uriel whinnied and turned to the trees, they would be back soon.

Emerging through the trees came the most beautiful Camargue horse, his pure silver coat shone in the sun and his dark mane grew long against his neck. He whinnied and reared. Four other white horses followed.

Cassiel turned to the familiar call. Raziel was back! They had thought he had perished along with Jahoel, Rachiel, Laylah and Emmanuel.
Raphael turned to Raziel, the former lead of the herd. The herd had wandered around without a lead stallion for a while before coming here. Raziel had been gone for nearly a whole year now.
Gabriel whinnied to the other horses, it had been ages since she had last seen them, she trotted over along with all the rest of the herd except Cassiel and Raphael.

[Pinto]

"I'm Lollipop"Lolli sad and smiled"and it's fine, i'm jus glad i have someone else to talk to other then the ones in my herd"she said, beaming

"I am Belldandy"Bell said
"And i'm Nara"Nara said, watching the others go off""and the two palomino camargues are Rio and Christine."
"and i'm Sted"
"and i'm Xaviar"

"the other white one"Belldandy said, nodding over to Lollipop"Is Lollipop, the most adventurous of us all"

The ponies that didn't introduce themselfes stepped forward.

'I am Raziel,' The taller, thicker Camargue spoke regally.
'This is Emmanuel,' Raziel looked towards Emmanuel and the horse nodded.
'And Rachiel,' The mare nodded and stepped forward as Raziel spoke her name.
'And Jahoel and Laylah.' The two horses looked to Raziel as he spoke and the stepped forward.
Zadiel and Uriel stepped forward and introduced themselves, soon followed by Gabriel.

[Pinto]

"it's a pleasure to meet you all"Belldandy said, bowing again

Some of the ponies nodded and started grazing peacefuly. A few walked over to the new horses to exchange breath and Uriel and Jophiel froomed each other.

Cassiel smiled at Lollipop, she was a very pretty Camargue, she had lovely kind brown eyes. Cassiel looked into thoses eyes and tried to read the emotions that stirred within.

[Pinto]

Lollipop smiled at Cassiel"so...um...how long have you been here for?"

Belldandy smiled at the other camargues then turned to looked at Rio way away from eeryone else..Christine had come back

[Brumby Rider]

Cassiel looked at Lollipop, 'Do you mean here at Hyrul River?' He asked, flicking his long tail to rid a fly off his flank.

Raphael trotted over to Raziel, 'I'm guessing you are the lead now? Am I right?' He asked, slightly annoyed. Raziel was named after the great arcangel that held the throne of the hevans, unfortunatly for Raphael, Raziel lived up to his name, he was the king of the Camargues and was the strongest, fastest and smartest.
Raziel narrowed his wise eyes, 'That is true Raphael,' He said, his voice had much power in it that you just had to obey.

[Pinto]

"yeah"Lollipop replied, shaking her mane


Rio sighed heavily, looking over at the others, she laid down and started rolling.

Zophiel spotted a palomino Camargue standing of a bit away, he frowned, palomino was a colour of the Camargue... Maybe she was a hybrid. He thought to himself. He shook his mane before slowly walking over to greet the palomino.

Cassiel blinked, 'We only just arrived really yesterday.' He said, it was strange that they should meet with anouther Camargue herd shortly after arriving.

Lollipop nodded"that's a coincedence really, then"she said and smiled


Rio stood up and shook off the loose dirt when she saw someone from the other herd coming towards her, she took a small step back
