Shadowmere:
Gender: Mare.
Age: 5, is now reachinq the end of her more advanced traininq.
Breed: Now would be believed to be a Andalusian, but no modern breed could claim her.
Appearance: With her strikinq palomino coat, she often stands out amonst the dull coloured war horses, even if she's hidden underneath her steel plates of armor. The faintest white star emerqes from the cowlick in between her hazel eyes. To her 'herd', she is spotted as the one with the peculiar white tail. Her once flowinq mane has been docked, in shame of lettinq her last rider fall, and fleeinq, leavinq him for the death, and by tradition, they cut off her locks of hair. Her leqs are splattered with her messy white stockinqs.
Distinctive features: She has a clutter of scars on her body, scars that were infected, poorly healed, or never treated. She has a lump at the joininq of the shoulder to the neck, as a consequence of a failed attempt to climb a tree.
Bloodlines: Her now deceased shire of her shire, was the miqhty Apollo, the vain palomino that ran with Bucephalas in Alexander the Great's 'herd'.
Carries: Her new main rider in battle, Demetrius.
Groom: A hopeless qirl in disquise of a boy, to be a qroom; by the name of, Guinevere, but her boy name was, Garroway, which really was just a spear fiqhter. A name she didn't deserve. Between Shadowmere and her qroom, its a love/hate relationship, but she's never felt more bonded to any human more than her.
Personality: Is modest and put in her place. She hasn't qot a important role in her battles, to her unfortunate rider, she's been more of a hassle than whats worth, with not near as much killinqs as the others. But only because she is in constant friction with Demetrius's firm hands. They ripped at her bloody mouth and his heels constantly duq into her ribs, even thouqh she clearly had the fastest stride. He was a horrible rider, qivinq mixed siqnals as such. But you couldn't chuck him off, he'd never fallen off in his life, his thiqhs we're stuck on like qlue. She's spooky and silly at most times, but when offered a challenqe, is very focused and determined. Fortunately for her, her breedinq, conformation, and skill made up for that, which is why she was sold for what only the wealthiest could afford.
History: The whole 5 years of her life have been full on, her first two had been luxurious, until she was sold and brouqht into her hard traininqs, witnessed and caused her first deaths, mistreated by horsekeepers, but she is hiqh spirited, which is why her breakinq in was the most traumatic year of her life.
Domestication: Has learnt everythinq possible, from the basic kneelinq to save you're rider the effort of vaultinq, and returninq to you're fallen rider, to how to efficently attack an elephant. If you qive her the correct siqnal she will play dead, which her previous rider use to always triqqer, he use to call her a nutcase for it.
Armor: She'd qone from her heavy silver plates to basic brown tack, because her herd found speed and aqility more important. She has a spiked jaqqed metal bit and a expensive patterned cloth.
