The Final Destination Empty The Final Destination

Post  Disturbia Wed Jun 02, 2010 10:09 pm

It had only been a couple of weeks, ploughing through meadows and forest, slicing through the waters, running endlessly over deserts, through the dirty marsh and here, finally! The final destination; Moonlight Lake. Pricking his ears while his broad, creamy neck was arched in a proud manner, nose bumping against his well-muscled, deeply scarred chest, the stallion let out a cry of victory, ears pricking as he slowed to a steady walk, muzzle lowering into the crystal clear lake. It had just turned to dusk. Dylectasili drank deeply, his senses remained aware as the cold water slipped down his parched throat. Tail swishing, eager to get exploring of this absolutely breath-taking area. Hoping desperately that the owner of this land would allow him to stay for a while, the stallion raised his head, striking blue eyes scanning the area. The peaceful shore-crashing waves echoed in his ears as the crickets chirped distantly. He admired the night, for there was always a beautiful scenery at this time, even in the Unpleasant Marsh, it was almost peaceful. Feeling undisturbed and content, Dylectasili turned around, muzzle quivering as he took in the new scents of the area, he walked over to a flowerbed and dropped, snorting softly before he shifted onto his back and began to roll, tail snaking along the grass playfully.

The pinto palomino rose her head from the ground, in an attempt to find some food. The slender vixen's nose, flared in sudden anticipation of the new scent that had breeched her nose. Her dark brown orbs carefully scanned the surrounding area of Moonlight Lake, her curves ears standing erect on her pointed head.
Stepping cautiously, the mare pressed forwards to investigate.
She was tall, well built, and faint scars told a tale of her past, one she would not like to repeat. Her ivory tail and mane created a halo around the mares body in the fading light.
Finally, the vixen's hooves came to a silent stop. Her dark eyes could barley make out another equine in the distance. A stallion from the looks of it. Her ears slowly made their was back in caution. She stayed quiet, keeping herself as inconspicuous as possible as she studied the stallion from a distance.

A chilling shiver raced on Fythern's spine and he shuddered vigorously, whipping his mane into a pale flurry of whispy hairs. Having shaken off the sensation, he snorted loudly, his muzzle puffing out as air whooshed from it. His large eyes drooped sleepily and his neck crept tentatively lower, his mind luring him into sleep. That gentle, peaceful darkness... "Oi!" snapped a voice behind him, making Fythern jump. His round ears shot up and he yanked himself awake, looking around wildly, his breathing heavy. His fearful gaze fell upon Klypto as he walked by, steps endlessly energetic and eyes bright. He looked over his roan shoulder with a playful smile. "No sleeping yet, big fella'. The smell's gettin' stronger." he remarked cheerfully. Fythern sighed and forced his hooves to lift from the ground, content to let them drag. Only a few days ago he had stumbled across the lively roan stallion, and Fythern almost regretted it. He hadn't enough sleep since. But, knowing arguing was no use, he trudged onwards. They continued on for a few minutes before Klypto suddenly stopped, his head high like a flag post and fully alert. "There!" he whispered excitedly. Fythern followed his gaze drowsily. Luckily, the horse wasn't hard to spot. His delicately creamy coat shone like a beacon, lit up beautifully in the moonlight. He knew that Klypto wanted to go down and greet the stallion, but something held them back, a lingering caution that told them to wait. They obeyed.

(Do I need two stallions? If not then I can take one out!! xD)

Snorting softly, well prancing in spot, the gracefully white stallion leap forward in an eager canter. Flaring his large nostrils, Shantel took in all the scents and smells of this new strange, but beautiful area. Hoof beats pounded against the hard ground in a perfect three beat rythem, as his silky white tail floated out like a ribbon behind him. He tossed his head while cantering then bucked out playfully. He was having fun, till his nostrils sunnedly picked up a scent of horses. Skiding to a stop, he breathed in their scent, picking one to be a mare and the others to be stallions. He stayed still and quiet, while his eyes darted around trying to find them.

Pawing at the ground out of boredom, the grand chestnut stallion begain to lick at the dust of the earth, only to relize there was no taste and started to spit it out. His tongue hang out slightly as he turned and trotted to fresh water. Lowing his head at the lake, he sipped till he felt all the dirt leave his tongue then he spat the water out and smiled to himself. Now it didn't taste like gross dirt. Flicking his tail to and fro, Chester picked up the scent of horses, he didn't bother looking or nickering to them. If they wished to find him then they could, but he wasn;t going to go out of his way to find them

Steady canter strides carried the graceful young mare towards Moonlight lake, each hoof placed carefully as the rhythmic sound echoed in the stillness around her. Slowing her pace she took the time to cast a watchful eye around the meadow. Waves gently lapped at the slightly dirty sand like shore before, thick, emerald green grass scattered the rest. Lilith halted, raising her head. Clearly, Arabian blood pulsed through her veins, showing in bright, large inquisitive eyes, ears, alert and fine, and her forehead, broad and dished. She took in the scent of the space around her, a stallion's musk filling her flared nostrils. Sharpening her senses, her ears swivelled, and eyes scanned the area. As she stood, moonlight broke through the thick cloud, illuminating her delicate cremello coat. She lowered her nose to the ground, and flicked her long tail. She wondered what a lone stallion was doing out in Moonlight Lake, and what he wanted. Arching her neck so her fine, tampered muzzle bumped her chest she remained motionless as the moonshine beamed down on her.

Crimson Kiss (Kiss) trotted daintily on four long legs, each with cute white socks. She had a bright chestnut pelt, merely dimmed by nights black cloak and an unusually flaxen mane. A star on her face glowed in the shimmer of the moon and she breathed in deeply, she definately wasn't alone. She saw a creamy stallion and nickered to him, three short rapid squeaks. Her ears perched towards him, waiting a response. Her crimped tail swung uncontrolled and she stood still, waiting to see if this stranger was friend or foe.

A lone bronze mare walked silently through the long grass, surrounded by a few trees. Impero gazed up boredly at an bird flying alone in the sky, probably on its way to its nest somewhere up in the tree's. She slowly moved her gaze ahead of herself. She was making her way to Moonlight Lake, and she was almost there by what she could tell from her surroundings. She had been to Moonlight Lake a couple of times before. She pricked both her ears forward as she drew nearer to the area, and shook his mane as she walked. She sniffed the crisp air, and took in the scents of the area. She smelt the water, and the long lush grass... and could she smell horse? She flicked one ear back, a little annoyed if there was going to be other horses there to disturb her peace, but kept walking at the same pace she had been going before. The lake soon came into sight, and she could see the figures of other horses. She sighed, and flicked the other ear back halfway as she slowly made her way to the lake for a drink.

There were horses' everywhere! This was a site Dylectasili couldn't afford to miss, the opportunity to make friends. Inhaling deeply, many different scents of different horses' travelled through his nose. There were a couple of stallions' as well as a couple of mares'. Eagerly springing to his feet, his coat quivered lightly as if to shake off all the endless grass that clung to his creamy coat. The moon had now taken the suns' place and was gleaming down, across the water and onto his pearly coat, making him look fabulous. A nicker was greeted to him, wondering if he was friend or foe. Looking relaxed, the stallion rested a hind hoof and slightly shut his eyes, blowing out of his nostrils' with a snort, indicating he was calm and friendly, a response to the mare. Sensing many horses around him within the forest, Dylectasili looked around. There was a palomino pinto mare, two stallions together, another bunch of two stallions, a cremello Arabian mare, the mare that had nickered to him and a mare that seemed to be wandering around, approaching the lake infront of him. He pricked his ears forward and nickered to her, wondering if there were any more horses around.

Rather parched from her journey here, Lilith began to move silently towards the lake, her hooves making no sound as they came in contact with the ground. She remained in the shadows until she reached the lakes edge and began to wade a little into the cool water until her hooves were submerged. Lowering her head to just above the water, she glanced at her reflexion. Bright, yet plae blue eyes stared back at her until she snorted, distorting the stillness as she plunged her mouth into the see through liquid and began to drink. Thirst quenched for now, she raised her head slightly, ears pricked forward towards the other horses, nostrils flaring as she took in their scents. She watched as the cremello stallion rose and called back to an eager nicker that had erupted from the silence moments before. Curious, a almost silent and low nicker escaped her pink lips as she watched.

A slight breeze blew in Creams face her thick coat shined in the light. She galoped over to the lake and she saw her reflection in the water. She had a scar that her mane nearlly covered up it. She drank the fresh water from the moon light lake she stayed by the lake and she could hear the birds chirping in the trees from south. She lowered on the grass to have a rest, She snorted very sofly at the birds chirping in the trees. She headed towards the big tree that she could res under. The rain was just sprinkling slighly on her body. A little red lady beattle gently crawled on her face while she was trying to go to sleep. She woke up and galoped around the forest to get some food but there was no hope se didnt find any food.

Ash flicked her tail as she walked through the soft green grass toward the moonlit lake; she stopped frozen as she walked into the clearing with heaps of other horses in it; some stallions and some other mares, she etched herself toward the lake, she was so parched that she took in huge gulps of water, though she was careful not to make to much noise.

Twister cantered into Moonlight Lake, pinning his ears and kicking out before pricking them and letting out a whinny to the mares and stallions he saw ahead. He stopped and glanced behind at his friend Bindi and nickered for her to hurry up.

Twister - http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs22/f/2007/316/f/2/Dark_Palomino_Pony___1_by_horsiexstock.jpg

Bindi snorted as Twister nickered for her to hurry up so she pruposely slowed to a walk which made Twister paw the ground impatiently. She nickered in laughter and then she slowly made her way to her friend. She then spotted mares and stallions of different colours and breeds and she pricked her ears, fasinated. Other then in herds she hadn't ever seen so many horses together... Unless they were in a herd.. But then why were so many stallions in the herd then? Bindi snorted. She couldn't make it out. She shook her head, trying to rid her surprise and confusion but it refused to leave her. She simply took a few steps towards them and whinnied.

Walking, walking walking. It was night time here, and that always made Typhoon uneasy. Her grey coat looked a faint baby blue in the midnight moon. Trotting on, she kept going until she smelt other horses. Stopping, she flicked her tail, snorting lightly. Great...

Impero flicked her left ear in Dylectasili's direction as he sent a nicker to her, but she didn't look at him yet. She came to a stop at the bank of the lake, then lowered her stocky neck to the water and sipped at cool refreshing water. She then raised her head, with water dripping off her muzzle, and turned to look at the cremello stallion. She nickered a faint nicker back to him, and starred at him for a few seconds, then darted her eyes across the area trying to find the other horses she scented.

Scenting several new horses' in the area, it sent shivers' of excitement down his spine. Hearing whinnies and hoofbeats of a horse galloping around the area while a new mare he hadn't scented yet walked into Moonlight Lake, taking rather large gulps of the crystal water. He neighed softly out to the other mare, then turned his attention to the other mare he had greeted before. All these horses in one area could make one insane but right now, Dylectasili could not feel that, only joyful and excited for a new companion, he may even get a mate out of all these mares' here!

Typhoon simply nickered back towards the stallion that nickered a greeting to her. She trotted up to the lake and sniffed it. Senceing it was safe enough, she plopped in and smiled. The water was surprizingly warm. Like bath water.

Twister snorted softly and he walked towards the large group of horses, cautious although interested. He then noticed Bindi prance beside him, obviously wanting to meet these new horses... She was always like that. Oh so friendly.

Bindi watched as Twister walked towards them and she smiled and pranced beside Twister, wanting to meet everyone. But a couple of the mares she thought she could pass on, they seemed a little... iffy. Bindi noticed a chestnut stallion standing alone and she pricked her ears and then trotted towards him, nickering to the cremello stallion as she trotted past him.

Shantel tossed his head as horses started to show them selves from all directions. He snorted softly, surprized. Taking in scents, he picked mares everywhere, except for 5 other stallions. Gazing around the white stallion was getting so confused. Whinnys and nickers were flying everywhere, he didn't know who was nickering to who or what. He sighed then walked forward into the open, letting the moon light shine on his exstremly white snow coat, he glissened gorgeously. He smiled then looked around for the stallions. He spotted one by the lake, he snorted softly not sure if he should go over there. It looked like a chestnut white white socks or something. Flicking his tail he decided against it. For now he would watch the cream colored stallion and all the mares run to him.

Chester sighed and swung his eyes here and there in amusement as horses came into this gorgeous place one by one, there were seriously heaps. He watched as some of the mares came to the lake to drink. He smiled warmly at them but none noticed, he sighed then swished his tail and breathed in the lovely scent of fresh free air. Once again he glanced around and saw more horses, some caught his eye at how gorgeous they looked. He couldn'y believe how many gorgeous mares there were here. Snorting softly he thought he would add another confusing nicker to the lot. He nickered loudly and waited for the reaction.

Typhoon heard the nicker, but did not reply. It was confusing, and even if she did, no one would hear anyway. She took a sip od water, now up to her knees. She flicked her tail happily.

With mysterious, bright eyes, she watched the horses silently. She huffed lightly, taking in the scent of even more horses. Swishing her tail, the mare began to walk towards a patch of fresh, green grass and gently took a mouthful. Her cremello coat shimmered with each step she took. Within a few seconds, she was standing hidden in the shadows of the trees, but it did little to cover her brightness.

Pride pricked his ears listening to the sounds around him, he frozze when he heard the neigh of another horse. He smiled to himself and trotted to a steady trot hoping to find the horse. He saw the horse's shadow in the distance, Pride sped up into a canter but stopped thinking what the horse could do if he/she didnt like him. He lowered his head and let out a little nicker just hoping the horse could hear him.

Bindi pricked her ears as Chester nickered and she trotted up to him, stopping a couple meteres away from him she nickered to him, pricking her ears. She was handsome. But then again, you can never judge a book by it's cover.

Twister snorted as he soon stopped and he snorted softly at all the whinnies and nickers. He lowered his head and started grazing, ignoring all it as much as he could.
